Shitaye ESHETE (Shitaye Eshete Habtegebrel, born 21 May 1990) is an Ethiopian-born long-distance runner who competes internationally for Bahrain. She has achieved top-8 finishes at both the Olympic Games and the World Athletics Championships, and is an Asian champion as well as an Asian Indoor champion. Currently ranked No.72 in the women’s marathon world rankings, she specializes in the marathon and 10,000 meters, representing consistency and high-level performance on the global stage.Every race is a test of limits—and she keeps pushing them further.
